“Iap's salary scale was reviewed in 2012 via the following process. The executive director worked with a board member to review data from the "2011 fair pay for northern california nonprofits," as well as data gathered on the salary scale of 10 of iap's peer organizations, collected via soliciting data from those organizations' directors. Based on this data, a new salary scale was proposed as well as specific salaries for each position. The board approved the scale, and also proposed and approved the salaries of the executive director and cfo/operations director. For other staff, the executive director set their salaries, based on the approved scale.”
