“The japan disaster relief and recovery program followed the two earthquakes that struck kumamoto prefecture in april 2016. Peace winds america working with peace winds japan has provided immediate relief (food, sanitation, shelter) and then helped move the survivors into temporary housing distributing appliances to more than 1500 families. We have provided care and shelter for those families with pets, enabling them to keep their pets in animal shelters. Also, we have provided monthly events, training, and livelihoods programs for the temporary housing residents "building community" within the 24 temporary housing townships.”

School books, supplies and materials were dispersed to children in st jean du sud, haiti, targeting those completing their secondary school diploma as well as children in primary school.”
