(2) NEPAL: PARTNER PEACE WINDS JAPAN (PWJ) ASSISTED THE DELIVERY OF EMERGENCY SUPPLIES WITH FUNDS FROM PEACE WINDS AMERICA, REPORTING THOROUGHLY THE AMOUNT OF FOOD, FUEL DELIVERED, AND THE NUMBER OF BENEFICIARIES. IN JUNE 2016, PWA SENT AN EXTERN CONSULTANT TO MONITOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THREE COMMUNITY CENTERS AND THE DELIVERY OF TRAINING AT THE CENTERS. THE CONSULTANT ALSO MET WITH THE LOCAL NGO WHICH WAS CONSTRUCTING THE WATER SYSTEMS/PIPING, LATRINES, AND WELLS. THE LOCAL NGOS SEND QUARTERLY THEIR PROGRAMMATIC AND BUDGETARY REPORTS. (3) JAPAN: PEACE WINDS JAPAN AND PEACE WINDS AMERICA IMPLEMENTED THE RELIEF AND RECOVERY OF TOHOKU.
