We work in California, across the USA, and around the world to prevent the extinction of amphibians, and to create a better planet for humans and wildlife

Save The Frogs DayConceived and coordinated by SAVE THE FROGS!, Save The Frogs Day is the worlds largest day of amphibian education and conservation action. Celebrated annually on April 28th, Save The Frogs Day has taken place every year since 2009. In 2023, SAVE THE FROGS! volunteers held 38 Save The Frogs Day events in 13 countries (Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, India, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Philippines, USA), made possible through the efforts of 203 volunteers, and directly reaching 3,084+ attendees. https://savethefrogs.com/dayGrants & AwardsSAVE THE FROGS! provided $12,065 in grants to amphibian conservationists from 10 countries (Bangladesh, USA, Colombia, Brazil, France, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Nigeria, Philippines), to assist their efforts protecting amphibian populations and educating citizens in their home countries. https://savethefrogs.com/grantsSAVE THE FROGS! Website & AcademyThe SAVE THE FROGS! website has educated millions of visitors worldwide about amphibians. In 2023, we published 51 articles and 17 lessons about amphibians and ways to save them from extinction. Our website received 158,433 visitors from 50 countries, who spent 5,017 minutes on the site. Art ContestConceived and coordinated by SAVE THE FROGS! annually since 2009, the SAVE THE FROGS! Art Contest contest raises awareness of the amphibian extinction problem by getting people involved and interested in amphibian conservation. The artwork is used on t-shirts, stickers and posters, and in greeting cards and books, to publicize our cause. The 2023 SAVE THE FROGS! Art Contest received 1,681 entries, from 1,842 participants in 71 countries! https://savethefrogs.com/artEcotoursSAVE THE FROGS! led X groups of nature enthusiasts (Z participants) on an ecological journey through COUNTRY. We visited frog habitats, learned about amphibians, and contributed to the communities that protect the rainforests and cloud forests. SAVE THE FROGS! Ecotours help spread the word of the importance of rainforests, amphibians and ecotourism, and have been featured in National Geographic and National Geographic Traveler magazines. https://savethefrogs.com/ecotoursScholarshipsSAVE THE FROGS! awarded $3,780 in scholarships to 63 amphibian conservationists in 15 countries: (Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Panama, Poland, Uganda, United Kingdom, and the USA). https://savethefrogs.com/scholarshipsWetland Construction & RestorationSAVE THE FROGS! along with U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Illinois Department of Natural Resources and members of the local community built a wetland for Illinois Chorus Frogs over the course of two days. SAVE THE FROGS! also funded and helped organize and publicize the construction of wetlands for endangered California Red-Legged Frogs (Rana draytonii) in Baja California, Mexico. https://savethefrogs.com/wetlandsAdvising California PoliticiansSAVE THE FROGS!
