Figures below demonstrate the large-scale nature of the campaign: 2,977 TV ads; 10,207 radio ads; 6,898 outdoor advertising posters in stores, malls and busses; 3,500 school posters; 288,000 print impressions and 31,002,676 online impressions. According to the 2011 Hawaii Meth Use & Attitudes Survey, 59% of Hawaii teens and 73% of Hawaii young adults now see great risk in trying Meth once or twice, up 15 points among teens from 44% in 2009 and up 16 points among young adults from 57%. In addition to positive changes in perception of risk, teens are also more likely to strongly disapprove of trying Meth (87%, up 5 points) and increasingly have told their friends not to use the drug (70%, up 11 points). |

As required by the uncertain tax position guidance in ASC 740, HMP recognizes the financial statement benefit of a tax position only after determining that the relevant tax authority would more likely than not sustain the position after an audit. For tax positions meeting the more-likely-than-not threshold, the amount recognized in the financial statements is the largest benefit that has a greater than 50 percent likelihood of being realized upon ultimate settlement with the relevant tax authority. At the adoption date, HMP applied the uncertain tax position guidance in ASC 740 to all tax positions for which the statute of limitations had remained open and has not recognized any additional liability. HMP is not subject to income taxes in the U.S. federal jurisdiction and the State. Tax regulations within each jurisdiction are subject to interpretation of the related tax laws and regulations and require significant judgment to apply. |
