A NEW SCHOOL KITCHEN WITH TWO OVENS WAS ALSO BUILT TO REPLACE THE OLD SHED KITCHEN AND OPEN FIRE COOKING. THIS IS MUCH MORE EFFICIENT AND SAFER FOR ALL COOKS AND CHILDREN. SGU CHILDREN'S VILLAGE CONTINUES TO PROVIDE A HOME, FOOD, EDUCATION AND MEDICAL CARE FOR 45 SCHOOL CHILDREN WHO HAVE BEEN RESCUED FROM LIVING ON THE STREETS OF LIRA, UGANDA. THE CHILDREN ARE PROGRESSING WITH THEIR EDUCATION AND 7 ATTEND SECONDARY SCHOOL. HEPATITIS VACCINES WERE PROVIDED FOR THESE CHILDREN AND THE STAFF THIS YEAR. Uncle fred's house sgu provides food, clothing and advocacy for approximately 150 children still living on the streets. In 2015, uncle fred's house, the center of sgu's street kids ministry, finished building a new house with a surrounding wall. A shelter and latrine were built behind the house to provide temporary protection to children during times of political unrest or severe weather. Children living on the streets know they can come to uncle fred's house and receive food, encouragement and hope for a different way of life. Grants for this program service accomplishment were utilized as follows: communications 1,747 food 11,545 other 1,056 medical 1,355 occupancy 374 travel 12,632 walkway 8,300 wall 6,008 latrines 3,563

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 29

Saving grace in uganda children's village in 2015, sgu primary school expanded by building a preschool building and playground. A new school kitchen with two ovens was also built to replace the old shed kitchen and open fire cooking. This is much more efficient and safer for all cooks and children. Sgu children's village continues to provide a home, food, education and medical care for 45 school children who have been rescued from living on the streets of lira, uganda. The children are progressing with their education and 7 attend secondary school. Hepatitis vaccines were provided for these children and the staff this year. Grants for this program service accomplishment were utilized as follows: kitchen 5,253 preschool building 10,371 school and other faculty 35,865 land 1,008 latrines 3,562 transportation (gas, oil, etc) 7,519 supplies 4,725 vaccines 3,240 tuition for children under care 6,000

IN 2015, UNCLE FRED'S HOUSE, THE CENTER OF SGU'S STREET KIDS MINISTRY, FINISHED BUILDING A NEW HOUSE WITH A SURROUNDING WALL. A SHELTER AND LATRINE WERE BUILT BEHIND THE HOUSE TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY PROTECTION TO CHILDREN DURING TIMES OF POLITICAL UNREST OR SEVERE WEATHER. CHILDREN LIVING ON THE STREETS KNOW THEY CAN COME TO UNCLE FRED'S HOUSE AND RECEIVE FOOD, ENCOURAGEMENT AND HOPE FOR A DIFFERENT WAY OF LIFE. GRANTS FOR THIS PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENT WERE UTILIZED AS FOLLOWS: COMMUNICATIONS 1,747 FOOD 11,545 OTHER 1,056 MEDICAL 1,355 OCCUPANCY 374 TRAVEL 12,632 WALKWAY 8,300 WALL 6,008 LATRINES 3,563
IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt4SAVING GRACE IN UGANDA CHILDREN'S VILLAGE IN 2015, SGU PRIMARY SCHOOL EXPANDED BY BUILDING A PRESCHOOL BUILDING AND PLAYGROUND. A NEW SCHOOL KITCHEN WITH TWO OVENS WAS ALSO BUILT TO REPLACE THE OLD SHED KITCHEN AND OPEN FIRE COOKING. THIS IS MUCH MORE EFFICIENT AND SAFER FOR ALL COOKS AND CHILDREN. SGU CHILDREN'S VILLAGE CONTINUES TO PROVIDE A HOME, FOOD, EDUCATION AND MEDICAL CARE FOR 45 SCHOOL CHILDREN WHO HAVE BEEN RESCUED FROM LIVING ON THE STREETS OF LIRA, UGANDA. THE CHILDREN ARE PROGRESSING WITH THEIR EDUCATION AND 7 ATTEND SECONDARY SCHOOL. HEPATITIS VACCINES WERE PROVIDED FOR THESE CHILDREN AND THE STAFF THIS YEAR. GRANTS FOR THIS PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENT WERE UTILIZED AS FOLLOWS: KITCHEN 5,253 PRESCHOOL BUILDING 10,371 SCHOOL AND OTHER FACULTY 35,865 LAND 1,008 LATRINES 3,562 TRANSPORTATION (GAS, OIL, ETC) 7,519 SUPPLIES 4,725 VACCINES 3,240 TUITION FOR CHILDREN UNDER CARE 6,000
