“Officers, directors, and trustees are required to submit a business code of conduct and annual conflict of interest form to disability:in, acknowledging their obligation to adhere to the standards as stated in the conflict of interest policy, and attesting that if they have a reasonable belief that a compliance violation has occurred, they will report it to disability:in's board executive committee. Any board member who is aware of a potential conflict of interest with respect to any meeting coming before the board may participate in the discussion after disclosure, but may not vote in connection with the matter.”
“The cfo and coo reviewed comparability data from both guidestar and the urban institute to propose an adjusted salary for the organization's president & ceo. This information was presented to the chair of the board who then took the proposal to the executive committee of the board of directors which serves as the compensation committee. The compensation committee reviewed and discussed the proposal and comparability data before making their decision to approve. The approved salary adjustment was then included in the organization's budget for the following year. The last compensation review took place in november 2024.”
