Hiv/aids care and prevention services are counseling services provided to hiv+ individuals to assist them to understand and manage the hiv infection and to access and adhere to needed medical treatment services. A) 1071 hours of care services were provided to 58 hiv+ clients b) 1513 hours of prevention interventions were provided to 1818 individuals c) 92% of hiv+ consumers in care showed increased consistency in medical treatment adherence and self care d) 84% of individuals receiving prevention interventions made commitments to reduce risk behaviors

Activity 3

Community safe zone is an advocacy and community organizing program that provides communities with support and information to help them take action in their communities to eliminate lgbt hate crimes and other forms of discrimination against lgbt people. A) 52 community organizing events were held in 5 western pennsylvania counties b) 393 community allies were engaged in activities to reduce discrimination and hate crimes in their community c) 652 individuals received training that increased their knowledge of hate crimes and other forms of discrimination
