Ucsd alumni association employees are also eligible to participate in the 403(b) plan which is managed by teh regents of the university of california. Similarly the ucsd alumni associations operating costs, space and facility needs are provided by the uc san diego campus free of charge, as a supporting organization in compliance with the university of california policy.contributionsthe ucsd alumni association solicits gifts in conjunction with it s fundraising activities. The uc san diego foundation is the primary depository of the donations recieved by the alumni association. Gifts processed by the uc san diego foundation on behalf of the ucsd alumni association include 100% tax deductible donations plus memberships and special event proceeds in which a portion of the contributions received may include quid pro quo items.expensesceratain operating expenses of the association included in this return are subsidized by the university of california. The subsidy attributable to teh operating expenses are included in indirect public support of the association.”
