The local union makes its governing documents (constitution) which includes the conflict-of-interest policy, available to all members upon request at local meetings. Constitutional terms are a matter of consideration at specified meetings for amendment by membership vote. The local union's finances are discussed at each regularly scheduled membership meeting.
