Employees of Midwest Operating Engineers Credit Union are paid through the payroll of Midwest Operating Engineers Union. The Credit Union reimburses Midwest Operating Engineers Union, however does not issue any W-2s or file payroll tax returns as this is handled by the Union. During 2013,there were eight employees of the Credit Union.

Form 990, PArt IV, Page 3, #12: Audited financial statements

The statement of financial condition of Midwest Operating Engineers Credit Union as of September 30, 2013 and the related statements of income, members' equity and cash flows for the year then ended were audited in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America. The audited financial statements contained the following foot note relating to income tax. The Credit Union was granted an exemption from federal income taxes by the Internal Revenue Service pursuant to the provisions of Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(14). The tax exempt purpose of the Credit Union and the nature in which it operates is described in Note 1. Management believes the Credit Union continues to operate in compliance with its tax exempt purpose. The Credit Union had no unrelated business income in 2013 or 2012 that management believes is subject to taxation. The Credit Union's annual information returns filed with the federal government are subject to examination for the statutory period.

IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt5The statement of financial condition of Midwest Operating Engineers Credit Union as of September 30, 2013 and the related statements of income, members' equity and cash flows for the year then ended were audited in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America. The audited financial statements contained the following foot note relating to income tax. The Credit Union was granted an exemption from federal income taxes by the Internal Revenue Service pursuant to the provisions of Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(14). The tax exempt purpose of the Credit Union and the nature in which it operates is described in Note 1. Management believes the Credit Union continues to operate in compliance with its tax exempt purpose. The Credit Union had no unrelated business income in 2013 or 2012 that management believes is subject to taxation. The Credit Union's annual information returns filed with the federal government are subject to examination for the statutory period.
