| Screen Eyes Early (SEE)An Amblyopia Prevention ProgramAmblyopia (lazy eye) is the #1 cause of vision loss in children. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends every child's eyes be screened routinely starting at age 12 months, to catch or prevent vision loss in time. CEF's Screen Eyes Early (SEE) campaign educates parents, pediatricians, primary care physicians, school nurses & educators about vision screening standards and tools that make it possible to identify silent disease early in life when treatment outcomes are best.
