Problems anonymous action group (paag) is a nonprofit organization devoted to advancing human dignity by providing meaningful involvement for people on the fringe of society. Paag currently possesses 121 beds, which provides independent, permanent, affordable housing units to seriously mentally ill (smi) homeless individuals. The paag drop-in center allows clients (paag members) to have a haven to avoid the streets and access appropriate socialization opportunities with their peers. Paag provided daily meals, weekly food orders, daily distribution of hygiene and personal items, cleaning supplies, and other essential commodities to severely mentally ill (smi) individuals of weber county. The paag program is set up to reinforce client's involvement in obtaining these services, which improves the quality of daily life and increases self-worth and self-reliance in these individuals. In 2024, paag served 16,886 hot, well-balanced meals, and 361 weekly food orders were filled. 57 non-recurring individuals placed 734 orders receiving 2,407 items of essential supplies and personal items through the paag trading post program. In addition, 711 individuals attended paag events throughout the year. 39 paag members hold regular daily and weekly positions in the paag drop-in center to assist their peers with daily tasks and training

The organization has been recognized by the internal revenue service (irs) as exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3), qualifying for the charitable contribution deduction under section 170(b)(1)(a)(vi), and has been determined not to be a private foundation under section 509(a). The organization is annually required to file a return of organization exempt from income tax (form 990) and is subject to income tax on net income that is derived from business activities that are unrelated to their exempt purposes. Management has determined that the organization is not subject to unrelated business income tax. Management believes that the organization has appropriate support for any tax positions taken in its annual filing and does not have any uncertain tax positions that are material to the financial statements.

PAAG PROVIDED DAILY MEALS, WEEKLY FOOD ORDERS, DAILY DISTRIBUTION OF HYGIENE AND PERSONAL ITEMS, CLEANING SUPPLIES, AND OTHER ESSENTIAL COMMODITIES TO SEVERELY MENTALLY ILL (SMI) INDIVIDUALS OF WEBER COUNTY. THE PAAG PROGRAM IS SET UP TO REINFORCE CLIENT'S INVOLVEMENT IN OBTAINING THESE SERVICES, WHICH IMPROVES THE QUALITY OF DAILY LIFE AND INCREASES SELF-WORTH AND SELF-RELIANCE IN THESE INDIVIDUALS. IN 2024, PAAG SERVED 16,886 HOT, WELL-BALANCED MEALS, AND 361 WEEKLY FOOD ORDERS WERE FILLED. 57 NON-RECURRING INDIVIDUALS PLACED 734 ORDERS RECEIVING 2,407 ITEMS OF ESSENTIAL SUPPLIES AND PERSONAL ITEMS THROUGH THE PAAG TRADING POST PROGRAM.
