Board review of form 990 the executive director performs a complete review of the form 990. The completed form 990 is distributed to the entire board of directors by e-mail for final review prior to filing with the irs.

Conflict of interest policy an annual letter with required response and a copy of the policy is provided to all staff and board members. The letter requires acknowledgement of reading and understanding the policy and reporting any known possible conflicts. Responses are reviewed annually.

Process for determining compensation the compensation of the executive director is subject to annual review by the board president with input from the executive committee. The finance committee prepares a budget each year which is subject to the approval of the board. The budget includes a separate line item for the executive director's compensation. No officer, director, trustee, key employee or highly compensated employee was paid in excess of $100,000 during the tax year.

PART III, LINE 4:

The conservancy maintains a growing collection of more than 20,000 items documenting chestnut hill's architectural, cultural and social history. The collection is available to the public for research purposes, etc.

PART V, LINE 4:

Intended use of the conservancy's endowment fund income from the endowment fund is considered unrestricted revenue and may be distributed to the organization as general support revenue for its programs.

PART X, LINE 2:

Uncertain tax positions under asc 740 gaap requires entities to evaluate, measure, recognize and disclose any uncertain tax positions. Gaap prescribes a minimum recognition threshold that a tax position is required to meet in order to be recognized in the finanical statements. The conservancy believes that it had no uncertain tax positions as defined in the standard.
