The organization has periodic sign off on the conflict of interest policy. Ethicspoint/navex global is used for anonymous reporting on all sorts of violations including conflict of interest policies.

The compensation of the president of hope international is determined by the board. His compensation is based on his performance and their understanding of compensation at other nonprofits. The compensation of all other employees is determined through use of a pay scale schedule which segregates all employees into four categories. Administrative assistants are in the lowest tier, and executives are in the top tier. Raises are based on merit.
