The organization has periodic sign off on the conflict of interest policy. Ethicspoint/navex global is used for anonymous reporting on all types of violations including the conflict of interest policy.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15

The compensation of the president of hope international is determined by the board. His compensation is based on his performance and comparable compensation information derived from several local and national salary surveys as well as form 990s from similar non-profits. The compensation of all other employees is determined through use of a pay scale schedule which segregates all employees into four categories. Administrative assistants are in the lowest tier, and executives are in the top tier. Raises are based on merit.
