Two recent awards provide significant fiscal support for the development of equal measure's new strategic plan (to launch in 2023) and our commitment to centering racial equity into all aspects of our work: in 2021, equal measure received a $5 million award from mackenzie scott; and in 2022, we received a $300,000 general operating support grant from the bill & melinda gates foundation. These awards provide support for organizational initiatives such as our white anti-racist and bipoc affinity groups and dei book club, as well as strategic initiatives focusing on equitable evaluation and place-based systems change.”
