As of december 31, 2017 and 2016, there are no accruals for uncertain tax positions. If applicable, the foundation records interest and penalties as a component of income tax expense. USPAP CONTAINS STANDARDS FOR ALL TYPES OF APPRAISAL SERVICES INCLUDING REAL ESTATE, PERSONAL PROPERTY, BUSINESS, AND MASS APPRAISAL. COMPLIANCE WITH USPAP IS MANDATORY FOR STATE LICENSED AND CERTIFIED APPRAISERS INVOLVED IN FEDERALLY RELATED REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS.CHANGES FOR THE 2018-2019 EDITION OF USPAP WERE ADOPTED BY THE ASB AT ITS PUBLIC MEETING IN DALLAS, TEXAS ON FEBRUARY 3, 2017. THE ADOPTED CHANGES GO INTO EFFECT ON JANUARY 1, 2018. THE USPAP DOCUMENT AND ALL RELATED COURSES WERE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC BY OCTOBER 1, 2017.HAVING FINALIZED THE REVISIONS FOR THE 2018-19 EDITION OF USPAP, THE BOARD TURNED ITS ATTENTION TO OTHER AREAS OF USPAP TO EXAMINE FOR POTENTIAL REVISION FOR THE 2020-21 EDITION OF USPAP. THE BOARD WAS ASKED TO REVIEW CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN USPAP AS PART OF THE EXPOSURE PROCESS FOR THE 2018-19 EDITION, AND INTENDS TO EXAMINE THEM IN MORE DETAIL IN 2018, STARTING WITH A DISCUSSION DRAFT DOCUMENT THE BOARD INTENDS TO PUBLISH IN JANUARY. |
