To find and care for the abandoned poor and to be family with those who have none. The mission is carried out by providing transitional & permanent housing, emergency housing (shelter),and support services to homeless and formerely homeless men and women.

Bethesda Project has adopted current accounting principles for uncertain income tax positions that require evaluation of tax positions taken on its income tax returns and recognizing a tax asset or liability if the position would not be sustained under audit. Bethesda Project's policy is to record interest and penalties from tax examinations as income taxes. For federal income tax purposes, the returns remain open for possible examination three years after they are filed.
