Supplemental Narrative

Additional Explanations

FORM 990, PART XII, LINE 2C:

The organization's finance committee and board assumes responsibility for oversight of the audit of its financial statements and the selection of the independent accountant. This process remains unchanged from the prior year.

Financial Statement Notes

PART V, LINE 4:

The organization's endowment funds are used for the preservation of principal for the benefit of people's emergency center.

PART X, LINE 2:

The internal revenue service has classified pec, cdc, the foundation and big daisy as exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code ("code"); as organizations, contributions to which are deductible under section 170(c) of the code; and as organizations that are not private foundations as defined in section 509(a) of the code. Splp, ihlp, and 4050 apartments are classified as limited partnerships and are not subject to income taxes. Only the partners report the income or loss on their income tax returns. Accounting principles generally accepted in the united states of america require management to evaluate tax positions taken and recognize a tax liability if the organization has taken an uncertain tax position that more likely than not would not be sustained upon examination by a government authority. Management has analyzed the tax positions taken by the organization and has concluded that as of june 30, 2016 and 2015, there are no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability or disclosure in the financial statements. The organization recognizes accrued interest and penalties associated with uncertain tax positions, if any. There were no income tax related interest or penalties recorded for either of the years ended june 30, 2016 or 2015.

PART XI, LINE 4B - OTHER ADJUSTMENTS:

Investment income 4,775. Contributions for 4050 350,000.
