Council members at large and charter partner representatives may vote at the annual meeting to receive and approve financial statements showing the financial position of the corporation as of the close of its most recent complete fiscal year and the results of operations during such year and transacting other such business as may come before the meeting. Active members may vote in other regular meeting, including to merge or consolidate.

The form 990 is reviewed by the scout executive, the treasurer and the audit committee chairman prior to filing with the irs. Additionally the entire board receives a copy of the 990 before it is filed.

Annually, the board membership is evaluated against requirement by the council leadership. Any violation would be addressed before individual can be re-nominated. Compliance is maintained and considered in operations throughout the year.

Council compensation & benefits committee, comprised of executive board members, meets as needed but at least annually, to review and authorize compensation changes for all employees. The council follows the bsa performance evaluation and compensation program. The management staff manages the process and the scout executive prepares the recommendations for the compensation & benefits committee's review and approval.

IT USES OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES SUCH AS CAMPING, AQUATICS AND HIKING TO ACHIEVE THE AIMS OF CHARACTER, CITIZENSHIP AND PERSONAL FITNESS TRAINING. THE EXPLORING PROGRAM IS AN INTERACTIVE, WORKSITE-BASED CAREER EDUCATION PROGRAM THAT SERVES YOUTH IN 6TH-8TH GRADES (EXPLORING CLUBS), AND YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE 14 THROUGH 20 YEARS OLD (EXPLORING POSTS). VENTURING IS A PROGRAM FOR YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN 14 (AND WHO HAVE COMPLETED THE EIGHTH GRADE) THROUGH 20 YEARS OF AGE. VENTURING'S PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE POSITIVE EXPERIENCES TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE MATURE AND TO PREPARE THEM TO BECOME RESPONSIBLE AND CARING ADULTS. OVER 9000 SERVED THROUGH CUB SCOUTS, BOY SCOUTS, VENTURING CREWS, AND EXPLORERS.
