“Wisdom thinkers network, a new york state-based non-profit organization, has developed sel and character education curriculum modules covering pre-k through 12,using multi-cultural wisdom stories designed to encourage children to develop a greater understanding of themselves and appreciation of the diversity of others in their schools and communities. This helps deter bullying and creates a school culture which is welcoming to all students. These traits become even more valuable when viewed in the context of current events exacerbated by the intolerance of our differences. Each story also has a service learning/community service component to engage students in solving the problems in their own communities.”

We like to say, everyone is welcome, just leave your hatred at the door we offer a turn-key intergenerational oral history program, "reweaving the fabric." this project allows young people to connect with the elders who built their communities, and through their stories learn and value the core wisdom of their region. We hope this helps rebuild a sense of pride in our communities largely lost in today's fast-paced world.
