The Roebling Main Gate Museum

“It is the Roeblng Museums policy to provide each board member with a copy of Form 990 for his or her review, comment, or questioning prior to filing the return with the Internal Revenue Service. Issues related to the content of Form 990 are discussed and resolved, as necessary, via Email or other recorded interactions between board members and a resolution adopting the filing of the return is voted on by the board.”

“The Roebling Museum has a written conflict of interest policy which supplements the awareness of conflicts of interest as addressed in the by lwas. Each year all board members are required to complete and sign a conflict of interest statement and to disclosre and personal or professional relationships that may be construed as potentially being in conflict with the Museums interests. Presently, board member Donald J. Cammus son-in-law is the managing member of Grand Slam Graphics LLC. Grand Slam Graphics sells less than 1,000 per year of store merchandise to the Museum. Mr. Cammus is not directly involved in selecting items that are purchased form or the terms and conditions of transactions entered into with Grand Slam Graphics LLC.”

“The Roebling Museum receives substanial in kind support in the form of volunteer services and third party payments of certain operating expenses on its behalf and, other contributed expenditure offsets. During 2014 the museum included 113,811 on its annual finanicial statements consistent with ASC 958-205 formerly SFAS 116. The amounts of offsetting contributed services and third party payments are not included as revenue and, the related expenditures are not reflected on the Musuems Form 990 for 2014. The Museum did capitalize 6,015 in contributed professional services related to the development of a Foot Bridge exhibit during 2014.”

“10,000 increase in Fund Balance corrected by reason of timing difference related to final revenue recognition of deferred revenue item pledge receivable from Roma Bank Foundation not included 2013 Form 990.”
