“The portland creative conference (aka: cre8con) was not held in 2020 due to the covid pandemic; it is typically our main source of income for the arts education grant pool. Through this event, kta usually raises funding and awareness through the collaborative efforts of artists, businesses, educators, professional associations and the creative community. There were two sponsorships received early in 2020 totaling 5,000 and a pre-paid facility rental fee that are being held with the expectation that this event will occur again in 2022.”
