Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 28

The kta grant program makes funds available to educators throughout oregon to help them turn their vision for specific arts projects into a reality. Kta awards range from 500-2500 per project benefiting hundreds of kids - especially in underserved communities where a bit of help can make all the difference. In 2020, the organization distributed the a total of 4,500 in grants to 2 different k-12 arts education programs in oregon.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 29

The portland creative conference (aka: cre8con) was not held in 2020 due to the covid pandemic; it is typically our main source of income for the arts education grant pool. Through this event, kta usually raises funding and awareness through the collaborative efforts of artists, businesses, educators, professional associations and the creative community. There were two sponsorships received early in 2020 totaling 5,000 and a pre-paid facility rental fee that are being held with the expectation that this event will occur again in 2022.
