Mission

Raise money to support arts education programs in rural Oregon (considered to be any Oregon community except those in the Portland, Oregon metro area) via music festivals and other events.

To help ensure that the arts remain an integral part of education for children in k-12 schools throughout the state of oregon, and especially in underserved rural communities.

THE PORTLAND CREATIVE CONFERENCE RAISED 15,000 FOR THE ARTS EDUCATION GRANT POOL IN 2016. KTA RAISES FUNDING AND AWARENESS THROUGH THE COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS OF ARTISTS, BUSINESSES, EDUCATORS, ORGANIZATION AND THE COMMUNITY.-$33,859
THE KTA GRANT PROGRAM MAKES FUNDS AVAILABLE TO EDUCATORS THROUGHOUT OREGON TO HELP THEM TURN THEIR VISION FOR SPECIFIC ARTS PROJECTS INTO A REALITY. The kta grant program makes funds available to educators throughout oregon to help them turn their vision for specific arts projects into a reality. Kta awards range from 500-2500 per project benefiting hundreds of kids - especially in underserved communities where a bit of help can make all the difference.
