The mind trust recognizes a tax position as a benefit only if it is more likely-than-not that the position will be sustained upon examination, including resolutions of any related appeals or litigation processes, based on the tax position's technical merits. At june 30, 2023, the mind trust did not recognize a benefit from any uncertain tax positions. It is difficult to predict the final timing and resolution of any particular uncertain tax positions. Based on the mind trust's assessment of many factors, including past experience and complex judgements about future events, the mind trust does not currently anticipate any significant changes in its uncertain tax positions over the next twelve months.
