“Annual open studio tour for eastern madera county produced by a committee of volunteers. Artists and sponsors are called to participate and/or sponsor student entries, assist with advertising, catalog development, exhibit, preview, etc. Show encompasses communities of ahwahnee, bass lake, bootjack, cathey's valley, coarsegold, mariposa, nipinnawasee, north fork, oakhurst and yosemite lakes park. The event is widely advertised in print, radio and television; also through local chambers of commerce and arts councils. An estimated 1,000 to 1,500 visitors utilized hotels, restaurants and other local businesses during the event weekend.”
