“Continued from Achievements:This year, our campaign against communication-based exploitation of incarcerated people has spurred prominent political leaders and journalists to take on telephone justice and to protect visitation from replacement with video calling systems.This year we saw progress on our campaign to correct the political distortions caused by the Census Bureaus practice of counting incarcerated people as residents of the towns in which they are imprissoned rather than at their real home addresses. We organized 100,000 people to call on the Census Bureau to end prison gerrymandering, and the Census Bureau published two Federal Register notices about the issue.Continued on Schedule O Continuned from Schedule O:Thanks in part to our report on drivers license suspensions, several states are discussing eliminating the revocation or suspension of drivers liceses for people convicted of unrelated drug offenses.”

We organized 100,000 people to call on the Census Bureau to end prison gerrymandering, and the Census Bureau published two Federal Register notices about the issue.Continued on Schedule O Continuned from Schedule O:Thanks in part to our report on drivers license suspensions, several states are discussing eliminating the revocation or suspension of drivers liceses for people convicted of unrelated drug offenses.
