“Membership in tia is open to all businesses engaged in the replacement tire industry including those engaged in manufacturing, retreading, tire and rubber recycling, wholesaling, automotive service and retail and commercial sales of tires, including suppliers to such businesses. Membership consists of two separate membership classes, voting members and e-satellite members. E-satellite members are provided access to the tia's member-only access website, but shall not be eligible to vote.”

“Candidates for directorships are elected directly by members of tia in good standing by ballot with the exception of the state executive. The results of the election are announced at the annual membership meeting of tia and the elected candidates are installed during this time.”
