“The organization has an executive committee which consists of the chairman, first vice-chairman, second vice-chairman, secretary and treasurer, who are on the board of directors. The executive committee has the authority to act on behalf of the board of directors between board meetings.”

Minutes from this annual meeting are kept on file. This process was undertaken during 2012 and 2013. The organization has no officers or key employees who are compensated by american mensa. For other director level staff members, the executive director annually reviews and updates the compensation plan, which takes into account non-profit data for similar jobs throughout the u.s. All increases are based on performance (merit) reviews. The executive director supplies the finance & audit committee with current salaries for all staff members. This process was undertaken during 2013.”
