“The board of governors shall, on or before the first day of april in each year, appoint a nominating committee of three regular and/or voting non-resident members, who shall select candidates for office and for governors to be voted upon at the ensuing annual meeting. Any ten regular and/or voting non-resident members may also nominate a ticket of one or more candidates. The names of all candidates must be posted on the club bulletin board, those candidates nominated by the nominating committee for at least 15 days, and those of all candidates for at least ten days, preceding the election. The nominating committee shall mail to all regular and voting non-resident members a notice of the names of all candidates at least 5 days before the election. The election of officers and governors shall be by ballot; the presiding officer shall appoint tollers, who shall also act as inspectors. The candidates receiving the greatest number of votes shall be deemed to be elected. At each annual meeting a president shall be elected, one or more vice-presidents, a secretary and treasurer or a secretary-treasurer shall be elected, who shall hold office for one year and until their successor are elected.”
