Financial Statement Notes

Part X, Line 2:

The school is generally exempt from income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the u.s. Internal revenue code. The school recognizes the effect of income tax positions only if those positions are more likely than not to be sustained. Management has determined that the school had no uncertain tax positions that would require financial statement recognition or disclosure. The school is no longer subject to examinations by the applicable taxing jurisdictions for periods prior to july 1, 2017.

THE ESTABLISHED GOALS ARE TO BE MET THROUGH THE FOLLOWING APPROACHES: PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT, A MENTOR PROGRAM WITH PROFESSIONALS FROM THE BRIDGEPORT BUSINESS COMMUNITY, AN INTRODUCTION TO THE WORK OUTSIDE OF BRIDGEPORT THAT INCLUDES THE ARTS, AND A SMALL ENROLLMENT THAT ALLOWS STUDENTS TO FOSTER A SENSE OF COMMUNITY AND SELF-RESPECT.
