Form 990, Page 6, Part VI, Line 12C

Each new responsible person shall be required to review a copy of this policy to acknowledge in writing that he or she has done so. Each responsible person shall annually complete a disclosure form identifying any relationships, positions or circumstances in which the responsible person is involved that he or she believes could contribute to a conflict of interest arising. This policy shall be reviewed annually by each member of the board of directors. Any changes to the policy shall be communicated immediately to all responsible persons.

Form 990, Page 6, Part VI, Line 15A

The salary recommendation process typically begins in february, with the treasurer of the board of directors researching the current cost of living increase. The sara holbrook community center's (shcc) executive director (ed) then confers with the ed's of a local like agency; the king street center -to compare salary ranges for like postions. This information is then shared with the human resources committee. Each shcc position has an established salary range, with the ed having the latitude to establish the salary for each position, with the exception of the ed. The board reviews assigned salaries as part of the budget approval process-typically at the may board meeting. The ed typically receive the same cost-of-living (cola) increase as the rest of the staff-this is usally discussed in executive session, with the ed out of the room. Once out of executive session, the board calls the ed back to share their decision.
