Program Services

DescriptionGrantsExpenses
Put on student events that are designed to engage students while also welcoming their families. As a Title 1 school serving many socially and economically disadvantaged students, our goal is to positively impact every child's life. We do this by hosting free annual events such as movie nights, the winter extravaganza, track and field club, and glo night; funding field trips so costs are minimal or free; supporting end-of-year school parties, fifth grade promotion, and the annual May Day program; and providing extra funding for programs that strengthen students social, emotional, and educational well-being. We also help cover the cost of food for family engagement nights and kindergarten orientation.-$14,339
Teacher & Staff Appreciation: To support our teachers and staff, who often use their own money for classroom needs, we provide a catered meal during Teacher Appreciation Week, reimburse up to $150 in supplies for paid PTA member teachers, and assist the Aloha Committee with activities that boost staff morale through refreshments, food, and other small gestures.-$6,013
Kapaa Elementary Campus Projects: These ongoing projects focus on improving the campus for students, teachers, and staff, with the long-term goal of creating a more inviting and functional environment. In the 2024/2025 school year, we introduced Hale Pono, a reward room similar to a fun center where students demonstrating kindness, respect, and responsibility earn tickets and a chance to enjoy playtime on Fridays. We also funded the construction of wooden tables and benches placed around campus, and we continue to cover the cost of filtered water from Menehune for the health room to ensure clean water is available to students in need.-$1,955
