“Before submission to the IRS, the completed Form 990 will first be reviewed by the council treasurer. Upon approval, the completed Form 990 will be reviewed by the Council Audit Committee, which will then recommend review and approval by the Council Executive Committee and Council Executive Board.”

“All board members and officers are required to complete an annual conflict of interest statement which is reviewed by the board.”

“Salary and benefits for all employees are reviewed annually by the benefits and compensation committee and then reviewed by the Boy Scouts National organization to ensure that compensation does not exceed position classfications that have been established by the national Boy Scouts of America Organization.”

SOLICITATION OF CONTRIBUTIONS FROM INDIVIDUALS RESIDING IN THE UNITED STATES is limited AND the council reviews the requirements with the states to ensure that filings are submitted when needed.”

“Active members may elect the members of the governing body and approve significant decisions of the governing body.”

“Active members may elect members at large, regular members of the executive board and officers of the corporation other than the scout executive.”

“Active members may vote at the annual meeting to receive and approve financial statements as of the close of its most recent fiscal year and other such business as may come before the meeting. Active members may also vote in regular and special meetings including but not limited to whether to merge with another council or councils.”

Tac supports us military families and expatriate families living overseas in europe, africa, middle east, and central asia. Our partnerships to deliver these scouting programs engage us military commands, international and american schools, and local community organizations. Tac delivers unparalleled summer camp experiences at camp alpine in kandersteg, switzerland and at camp avantura bsa in savudrija, croatia. Youth members also experience high adventure at the philmont scout rance in new mexico, summit bechtel reserve in west virginia, and the world and national scout jamborees. Six districts within the council provide adult training, scout camporees, cub scout day camps, roundtable venues, and order of the arrow events. As a founding member of intercamp, tac collaborates with many eurpoean scouting associations each year”
