Types of aid given by emergency resources association 5001 emergency foods were provided--17,603 persons/561,207 meals) 62 lodging 302 shelter nights/990 persons) 74 emergency gasoline 2 utilities 17 rental assistance (51 persons) 54 families were provided with furniture (162 persons) 160 families were provided with clothing (377 persons) 86 children received school uniforms 258 children received school supplies 145 homeless cofort kits/hygiene products 32 children received glasses (5,546 cases involving 19,272 persons) 15,148 miles were traveled and approximately 19,381 phone calls were made to handle request for assistance. Our mileage includes home visits to clients to assess the needs, food deliveries to disabled persons,and seniors and families that are not able to get to other food banks for lack of transportation. Era picks up donated items, makes trips to the los angeles regional food bank four times a month.
