“Create Now's mission is to empower youth and young adults through arts in multiple creative disciplines. Our programs introduce students to the power of the arts as well as learn valuable skills that lead to jobs and careers across multiple industries. We obtain all the resources necessary to provide quality programming to our participants. Since 1996, Create Now has provided arts programs and services to more than 50,000 youth in Los Angeles and adjacent counties. We focus on youth who are experiencing homelessness, in foster care, or experiencing other forms of challenges. Create Now provides youth with high-quality arts programs, enriching opportunities, and caring artists who often operate as mentors. This is accomplished through our network of 125+ partner youth agencies, including shelters, foster group homes, schools, detention centers and other types of facilities that support youth.”
