The greater los angeles chapter of us lacrosse, inc is an affiliate of the national governing body of the sport of lacrosse, us lacrosse. The primary purpose of the chapter is to unify, promote, and manage the many aspects of men's, women's, and youth lacrosse in the greater los angeles area. The chapter is the central source for information, programs, and lacrosse events in the greater los angeles area. It seeks to promote and develop the game of lacrosse as an integral part of the educational process and as a means of making available to the youth of the area the beneficial attributes of the game. The chapter also seeks to broaden the public interest in amateur lacrosse through educational programs designed to encourage playing the same and make its benefits available to an ever increasing number of individuals.
