Additional Explanations

FORM 990, PART III, LINE 4A, PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS CONTINUED:

Through our parent and family skills development workshops, parents learn and develop the skills to create a nurturing environment and strong foundation to their child's goals. The workshops empower parents with strategies for parenting with greater confidence and effectiveness. Educare's vision is that love is the foundation of education. Adults and young people together are creating compassionate learning communities that promote self-discovery, and serve youth in achieving success in school and in life.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Management has concluded that any tax positions that would not meet the more-likely-than-not criterion of fasb asc topic 740-10, accounting for income taxes, would be immaterial to the financial statements taken as a whole. Accordingly, the accompanying financial statements do not include any provision for uncertain tax positions, and no related interest or penalties have been recorded in the statement of activities and changes in net assets or accrued in the statement of financial position. Federal and state tax returns of the entity are generally open to examination by the relevant taxing authorities for a period of three years from the date the returns are filed.
