Form 990, Part III, Service Accomplishments

The death of the founder in 2012 resulted in a significant loss of resources, associations, and relationships which the founder had personally developed over the previous 20 years. 2013 was spent both implementing its core programs and exploring new programs for the company, within its purpose statement. In 2013, we continued to research and develop a new program called "center for healthy parenting" (chp), through which we developed a parenting program for the underserved, as described above. This program was terminated in 2013 before it launched to the public, but much of 2013 was spent in development and many resources were provided to the general public in person. In 2013, we researched and developed a new program called "inner city music festival" which would bring together inner-city youth with professional and amateur los angeles-based orchestras, bands, musicians, and choirs for benefit concerts that would provide grants for young, emerging inner-city artists, writers, and musicians. As we at one time directly provided low-income housing for many years, we now provide referral services for low-income families, individuals, and seniors seeking housing to government and charitable housing agencies and information centers.

IN 2013, WE CONTINUED TO RESEARCH AND DEVELOP A NEW PROGRAM CALLED "CENTER FOR HEALTHY PARENTING" (CHP), THROUGH WHICH WE DEVELOPED A PARENTING PROGRAM FOR THE UNDERSERVED, AS DESCRIBED ABOVE. THIS PROGRAM WAS TERMINATED IN 2013 BEFORE IT LAUNCHED TO THE PUBLIC, BUT MUCH OF 2013 WAS SPENT IN DEVELOPMENT AND MANY RESOURCES WERE PROVIDED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN PERSON. IN 2013, WE RESEARCHED AND DEVELOPED A NEW PROGRAM CALLED "INNER CITY MUSIC FESTIVAL" WHICH WOULD BRING TOGETHER INNER-CITY YOUTH WITH PROFESSIONAL AND AMATEUR LOS ANGELES-BASED ORCHESTRAS, BANDS, MUSICIANS, AND CHOIRS FOR BENEFIT CONCERTS THAT WOULD PROVIDE GRANTS FOR YOUNG, EMERGING INNER-CITY ARTISTS, WRITERS, AND MUSICIANS. AS WE AT ONE TIME DIRECTLY PROVIDED LOW-INCOME HOUSING FOR MANY YEARS, WE NOW PROVIDE REFERRAL SERVICES FOR LOW-INCOME FAMILIES, INDIVIDUALS, AND SENIORS SEEKING HOUSING TO GOVERNMENT AND CHARITABLE HOUSING AGENCIES AND INFORMATION CENTERS.
