The purpose of wishtoyo foundation is to protect the rivers and watersheds of southern california's coastal communities, preserve the heritage of the chumash people and teach their ancient values of environmental awareness, stewardship and sustainability. Our environmental programs - water quality monitoring and restorations of native habitats and wetlands, involve volunteer participation from youth groups, schools, community groups and the general public.
