Mission

From 1996 to the present, passkeys foundation jefferson center for character education has worked in collaboration with non-profits and the oc business community, educational institutions, school districts, civic and/or religious organizations, and individuals to present character and ethics education programs, publications, presentations focused on values- centered education which underscores seven performance character ethical assets: personal responsibility, positive self worth, purpose, plan, paying the price partnership and persistence. Through its unique publications and programs based on common core virtues that cut across ethnic, cultural and religious lines, the foundation focuses its vision of helping to build a nation of character at home, at work and in the community. In december, 1999, the jefferson center for character education merged with passkeys foundation.

PASSKEYS FOUNDATION INITIATED 2016 INAUGURAL PROGRAMMING OF THE INSTITUTE FOR COMMUNITY IMPACT WITH THE COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP OF DAVID ELLIOTT & ASSOCIATES. MULTI-PROGRAM INITIATIVES: (A)THREE LEADERSHIP BREAKFAST PROGRAMS (MARCH, MAY, SEPT). AT EACH PROGRAM THREE OC NON PROFITS PRESENTED THEIR MISSION STORY AND STRATEGIC CHALLENGE TO AN AUDIENCE OF OC COMMUNITY PROFESSIONALS. THE AUDIENCE WERE ENGAGED IN EXPLORING INSIGHT AND INPUT INTO EACH NON PROFIT'S STRATEGIC CHALLENGE. AT A FOLLOW UP MEETING HELD WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF EACH BREAKFAST PROGRAMS, THE NON PROFITS HOSTED A FOCUS MEETING AT THEIR OFFICES INVOLVING INTERESTED PROFESSIONALS WHO ATTENDED THE BREAKFAST TO PURSUE A DEEPER EXPLORATION OF PROBLEM SOLVING WITH EACH NON PROFIT ON THEIR STRATEGIC CHALLENGE. Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 28

Passkeys foundation initiated 2016 inaugural programming of the institute for community impact with the collaborative leadership of david elliott & associates. Multi-program initiatives: (a)three leadership breakfast programs (march, may, sept). At each program three oc non profits presented their mission story and strategic challenge to an audience of oc community professionals. The audience were engaged in exploring insight and input into each non profit's strategic challenge. At a follow up meeting held within 2 weeks of each breakfast programs, the non profits hosted a focus meeting at their offices involving interested professionals who attended the breakfast to pursue a deeper exploration of problem solving with each non profit on their strategic challenge. (b)two distinct 2-day community forums were presented and facilitated by the institute involving learning interacting, exploring community needs and services focused on the 7 pillars of community engagement: government, faith, arts and entertainment, business, education, healthcare, family and social services. Forum 1 was presented in the city of santa ana involving a group of 12 community leaders forum 2 was presented at cal state university involving students of the university being introduced to the 7 pillar institutions shaping the life of orange county and engaging the students in questions and interaction with community leaders representing the 7 pillars. (c)institute for community impact inaugural oc influencers for good recognition event. The honoring event recognized 7 individuals, each honoree a representative of one of the 7 pillars of community influence. The honorees were selected by an ad hoc committee engaging community leaders in the seven selections. The recognition event was held at the center club and attended by approximately 130 guests. (d)the institute for community impact created an advisory team of approximately 25 individuals who met three times in 2016 to offer counsel, input and promotion of the 2016 inaugural programming

The inspiration impulse: russell williams, president and founder of passkeys introduced a work-week blog for the business and professional community, titled the inspiration impulse. The multi-day presentation of blog posts focused messaging on character, values, and inspirational storytelling about an individual's responsibility,opportunity and privilege to be an everyday influencer for good at home, at work and in the community.

(C)INSTITUTE FOR COMMUNITY IMPACT INAUGURAL OC INFLUENCERS FOR GOOD RECOGNITION EVENT.
