Mission

From 1996 to the present, passkeys foundation jefferson center for character education has worked in collaboration with non-profits and the oc business community, educational institutions, school districts, civic and/or religious organizations, and individuals to present character and ethics education programs, publications, presentations focused on values- centered education which underscores seven performance character ethical assets: personal responsibility, positive self worth, purpose, plan, paying the price partnership and persistence. Through its unique publications and programs based on common core virtues that cut across ethnic, cultural and religious lines, the foundation focuses its vision of helping to build a nation of character at home, at work and in the community. In december, 1999, the jefferson center for character education merged with passkeys foundation.

2024 PASSKEYS FOUNDATION PROGRAMMINGIN 2024 PASSKEYS FOUNDATION PURSUED ITS NINTH YEAR OF COMMUNITY PROGRAMMING THROUGH ITS INSTITUTE FOR COMMUNITY IMPACT. MULTI-PROGRAM INITIATIVES INCLUDED:(A) THREE LEADERSHIP BREAKFAST PROGRAMS (MARCH, JUNE, AND SEPT). THE MARCH PROGRAM THREE OC NON PROFITS PRESENTED THEIR MISSION STORY AND STRATEGIC CHALLENGE TO AN AUDIENCE OF OC COMMUNITY PROFESSIONALS. THE PARTICIPATING AUDIENCE OF 100-110 OC COMMUNITY PROFESSIONALS AT THE PROGRAM WERE ENGAGED IN EXPLORING THE #1 STRATEGIC CHALLENGE OF THE NON-PROFIT. AT A FOLLOW UP MORNING EVENT HELD WITHIN 3 WEEKS AFTER EACH BREAKFAST PROGRAM, EACH NON-PROFIT HOSTED A FOCUS MEETING VIA ZOOM INVOLVING INTERESTED PROFESSIONALS WHO ATTENDED THE BREAKFAST TO PURSUE A DEEPER EXPLORATION OF PROBLEM-SOLVING WITH EACH NON PROFIT RELATED SPECIFICALLY TO THE NON-PROFIT'S STRATEGIC CHALLENGE. EACH STRATEGIC CHALLENGE FOLLOW-UP MEETING WAS FACILITATED BY A MEMBER OF THE INSTITUTE'S ADVISORY TEAM. TYPICALLY, 6-10 INDIVIDUALS ATTENDED THE FOLLOW UP, AFTER SIGNING UP TO PARTICIPATE AT THE INITIAL BREAKFAST PROGRAM.(B) THE FOUNDATION THROUGH THE INSTITUTE PROVIDED AN ORANGE COUNTY COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP SUMMIT. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH GIVSUM, 65 PARTICIPANTS MET WITH (7) KEY LEADERS REPRESENTING THE (7) COMMUNITY PILLARS TO DISCUSS ON ISSUES PERTINENT TO THE ORANGE COUNTY COMMUNITY.(C) THE 8TH ANNUAL (NOVEMBER) INSTITUTE FOR COMMUNITY IMPACT'S OC INFLUENCERS FOR GOOD CELEBRATION WAS HELD IN PERSON AT THE SAMUELI THEATRE AT THE SEGERSTROM CENTER FOR THE ARTS WITH OVER 200 IN ATTENDANCE. SIX OUTSTANDING OC HONOREES WERE RECOGNIZED FOR THEIR SIGNIFICANT ACHIEVEMENTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS IN FOUR OF THE 7 COMMUNITY PILLARS: BUSINESS, GOVERNMENT, EDUCATION AND HEALTH. THE INSTITUTE'S HONOREES WERE SELECTED BY AN AD-HOC COMMITTEE OF THE INSTITUTE'S ADVISORY BOARD. OUTSTANDING MUSICAL PRESENTATION FROM THE ORANGE COUNTY SCHOOL OF THE ARTS.(D) THE INSTITUTE FOR COMMUNITY IMPACT'S ADVISORY TEAM OF 30 INDIVIDUALS MET VIRTUALLY IN 2024 TO OFFER COUNSEL, INPUT AND PROMOTION OF THE 2024 INSTITUTE PROGRAMMING.$0$69,173

MULTI-PROGRAM INITIATIVES INCLUDED:(A) THREE LEADERSHIP BREAKFAST PROGRAMS (MARCH, JUNE, AND SEPT). THE MARCH PROGRAM THREE OC NON PROFITS PRESENTED THEIR MISSION STORY AND STRATEGIC CHALLENGE TO AN AUDIENCE OF OC COMMUNITY PROFESSIONALS. THE PARTICIPATING AUDIENCE OF 100-110 OC COMMUNITY PROFESSIONALS AT THE PROGRAM WERE ENGAGED IN EXPLORING THE #1 STRATEGIC CHALLENGE OF THE NON-PROFIT. AT A FOLLOW UP MORNING EVENT HELD WITHIN 3 WEEKS AFTER EACH BREAKFAST PROGRAM, EACH NON-PROFIT HOSTED A FOCUS MEETING VIA ZOOM INVOLVING INTERESTED PROFESSIONALS WHO ATTENDED THE BREAKFAST TO PURSUE A DEEPER EXPLORATION OF PROBLEM-SOLVING WITH EACH NON PROFIT RELATED SPECIFICALLY TO THE NON-PROFIT'S STRATEGIC CHALLENGE. EACH STRATEGIC CHALLENGE FOLLOW-UP MEETING WAS FACILITATED BY A MEMBER OF THE INSTITUTE'S ADVISORY TEAM. TYPICALLY, 6-10 INDIVIDUALS ATTENDED THE FOLLOW UP, AFTER SIGNING UP TO PARTICIPATE AT THE INITIAL BREAKFAST PROGRAM.(B) THE FOUNDATION THROUGH THE INSTITUTE PROVIDED AN ORANGE COUNTY COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP SUMMIT. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH GIVSUM, 65 PARTICIPANTS MET WITH (7) KEY LEADERS REPRESENTING THE (7) COMMUNITY PILLARS TO DISCUSS ON ISSUES PERTINENT TO THE ORANGE COUNTY COMMUNITY.(C) THE 8TH ANNUAL (NOVEMBER) INSTITUTE FOR COMMUNITY IMPACT'S OC INFLUENCERS FOR GOOD CELEBRATION WAS HELD IN PERSON AT THE SAMUELI THEATRE AT THE SEGERSTROM CENTER FOR THE ARTS WITH OVER 200 IN ATTENDANCE. SIX OUTSTANDING OC HONOREES WERE RECOGNIZED FOR THEIR SIGNIFICANT ACHIEVEMENTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS IN FOUR OF THE 7 COMMUNITY PILLARS: BUSINESS, GOVERNMENT, EDUCATION AND HEALTH. THE INSTITUTE'S HONOREES WERE SELECTED BY AN AD-HOC COMMITTEE OF THE INSTITUTE'S ADVISORY BOARD. OUTSTANDING MUSICAL PRESENTATION FROM THE ORANGE COUNTY SCHOOL OF THE ARTS.(D) THE INSTITUTE FOR COMMUNITY IMPACT'S ADVISORY TEAM OF 30 INDIVIDUALS MET VIRTUALLY IN 2024 TO OFFER COUNSEL, INPUT AND PROMOTION OF THE 2024 INSTITUTE PROGRAMMING.
