Ojai northin 2011, the ojai music festival and cal performances entered into an industry acclaimed multi-year partnership to bring several ojai music festival programs to berkeley, ca immediately following the annual festival in june. Ojai north takes place in berkeley the week following the festival each year.

Activity 3

Music education & community programsfor over thirty years the festival's bravo! Music education program has offered free music education to students in ojai valley public schools through its artists in residence, music van, imagine concert, and education through music (etm) programs. The program reaches over 2,000 students in the ojai area annually, introducing them to music, the importance of creative exploration and drawing connections between music and other core curriculum subjects. Through music, the bravo! Program enriches students' foundational skills for academic and personal success. In addition, the festival's arts management internship program attracts 12-14 college and graduate students for hands-on experience in production, management, and customer service.additionally, each year's festival features numerous community events which are free and open to the public, including concerts in libbey park and throughout ojai, pre-concert lectures, film screenings, and more. In fiscal year 2013 there were:2048 k-12 students served through bravo!13 schools in ojai and ventura500 workshops presented11,319 multiple bravo! Impressions15 interns13 free festival events
