Activity 2

Employment services - employment is vital to an individual's recovery from mental illness. Pacific clinics has nearly $1.85 million in contracts that promote consumer job preparation and employment placement. Annually, through a contract with the department of rehabilitation, consumers work with staff in developing their employment skills. The agency has two contracts with los angeles and orange counties to provide consumer training and temporary work experience for consumers who are interested in pursuing a career in the mental health field. Pacific clinics' goal is to assist individuals in being prepared for the job market. Note: expenses consist of direct program expenses only, and do not include allocations of management and general expenses.

Activity 3

Alcohol and drug dependency services - since 2000, pacific clinics has been state certified in alcohol and substance abuse services. Today the clinics serve co-occuring youth and adults who are dually diagnosed with a mental illness and substance abuse. A team of mental health, drug and alcohol counselors provide consumers with integrated services. 2,080 consumers were served during fy12.
