Form 990, Part VI, Line 3: Description of Delegated Duties to Management Company

The organization's low income housing projects are managed by satellite affordable housing associates property management, inc. (saha pm), a nonprofit public benefit corporation related to the corporation by common members of the board of directors and/or the right to appoint the organizations directors. Saha pm is responsible for the day to day operations of the low income housing project, including maintenance of accounting records, rent collection, facility maintenace, etc.

Prior to filing, the 990 is reviewed by the executive director and chief financial officer of satellite affordable housing associates property management which is related to the organization by common members of the board of directors.

Annually, a conflict of interest disclosure form is distributed to each Board Member to complete and sign. These are reviewed for any conflicts of interest and are kept on file.

Part X : FIN48 Footnote

The corporation has received tax exempt status under irc section 501(c)(3) and the california franchise tax board under the revenue and taxation code 23701(d). The income or loss from the partnership is reported by the partners on their income tax returns.no income tax provision has been included in the consolidated financial statements for the single member limited liability company which is considered a disregarded entity. The income and loss of the llc is included in the tax return of the corporation. Only the annual california limited liability company minimum tax and the annual fee appear as expense in the consolidated financial statements.the organization believes that it has appropriate support for any tax positions taken, and as such, do not have any uncertain tax positions that are material to the consolidated financial statements. The corporation's federal and state information and income tax returns for the years 2013 through 2016 are subject to examination by regulatory agencies, generally for three and four years after they were filed for the federal and state returns, respectively.
