The Elliott Conservancy

The elliott conservancy was formed to support and pursue programs relating to scientific and ecological protection, with a focus on the preservation, protection and enhancement of land in a natural, scenic, historical, agricultural, or open-space condition or use; to improve the quality of wetland, open space, and stream areas; to promote habitat preservation and the preservation and enhancement of native vegetation and environmentally sensitive areas, including, without limitation, that certain property commonly known as the clay station mitigation bank and other preserve areas, so long as the activities and programs undertaken, supported, or initiated by the corporation are otherwise charitable, educational or scientific in nature within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1954 or the corresponding provision of any future united states internal revenue law.
