03. PART III. WHAT IS THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE? The Valleyfest mission is to produce community driven, safe, family oriented, visually dramatic festivals and events. Valleyfest showcases the talent that enriches the Spokane Valley Region and celebrates the visual and performing arts, education and recreation for the entire community to enjoy.

Valleyfest exposes the talent that enrich the Spokane Valley Reion and celebrates the visual and performing arts, education and recreation so the entire community can experience them.

Valleyfest event. Valleyfest was founded in 1989 as a way to expose children to the benefits of art, science, nature, and recreation. Valleyfest has since evolved in a multi-faceted event showcasing the people and places that are the heart of Spokane Valley. The first event is the Miss Spokane Valley leadership event detailed in part iii, line 28 above. This event is followed in July by the Valleyfest sponsored "Cycle Celebration" described on form 990ez, part iii, line 29. "Cycle Celebration" encourages young and old to enjoy biking and celebrate the incorporation of Spokane Valley in 2003. Wrapping up in September, Valleyfest kicks off the 3-day community event with the "HEARTS OF GOLD" parade down the main street of Spokane Valley. The parade attracts as many as 10,000 spectators. The next day, Valleyfest, the premier community festival invites visitors to Mirabeau Park where adults and children have their pick of live entertainment on two stages with over 200 local, regional and national vendors on hand to provide our visitors with the opportunity to visit with other non-profit organizations, buy a local craft item or enjoy food from one of our many food vendors. If the youngsters in the family want to learn how to fish, Valleyfest offers "fishing at the falls," a very popular events for kids and parents. At the Centerplace Regional Event Center, Robotics, "STEAM" are just two of the many more participation events keep the young mind as well as adults busy and engaged. 2024 also featured an expanded two-day Multicultural event designed to celebrate and share our diverse rich cultures and heritages with our neighbors through dance, art, music, fashion, food and businesses. Sunday begins the day with a pancake breakfast, then our visitors can wander through the car show featuring a wide variety of beautifully restored classic autos as well as the latest models. if your family is athletic, Valleyfest has a 5k/10k timed run, a triathlon and a family bike ride to name but a few activities. Valleyfest, the two-day event annually draws over 30,000 visitors to the festivities held at the city of Spokane Valley Centerplace Event Center and the beautiful Mirabeau Park$0$109,387
MISS SPOKANE VALLEY LEADERSHIP EVENT: Valleyfest begins the "event" year with the Valleyfest Miss Spokane Valley leadership program open to all young women in their freshman, sophomore or junior year of high school. This program features a series of career workshops that include interview skills, marketing, networking, public speaking and resume writing. The royal court normally appears at a variety of community events during their year of service. This includes the Lilac Festival Torchlight Parade, Valleyfest Hearts of Gold Parade, the Spokane Rotary Club's annual Christmas tree lighting and much more. In addition, the Miss Spokane Valley event float has given Valleyfest the ability to participate in many other parades throughout the region in 2024. Miss Spokane Valley royalty act as ambassadors for the city of Spokane Valley as well as at Valleyfest. part of the 2024 expenses for the Miss Spokane Valley event are costs associated with the float.$0$5,063
VALLEYFEST CYCLE CELEBRATION. This is a one-day event celebrating the 2003 Spokane Valley city incorporation. The event encourages young & experienced riders to participate in cycling. Over 250 riders participated in the 10 mile Family Ride, the 25-mile and the 50-mile rides.$0$3,998

This program features a series of career workshops that include interview skills, marketing, networking, public speaking and resume writing. The royal court normally appears at a variety of community events during their year of service. This includes the Lilac Festival Torchlight Parade, Valleyfest Hearts of Gold Parade, the Spokane Rotary Club's annual Christmas tree lighting and much more. In addition, the Miss Spokane Valley event float has given Valleyfest the ability to participate in many other parades throughout the region in 2024. Miss Spokane Valley royalty act as ambassadors for the city of Spokane Valley as well as at Valleyfest. part of the 2024 expenses for the Miss Spokane Valley event are costs associated with the float.

The event encourages young & experienced riders to participate in cycling. Over 250 riders participated in the 10 mile Family Ride, the 25-mile and the 50-mile rides.

Valleyfest was founded in 1989 as a way to expose children to the benefits of art, science, nature, and recreation. Valleyfest has since evolved in a multi-faceted event showcasing the people and places that are the heart of Spokane Valley. The first event is the Miss Spokane Valley leadership event detailed in part iii, line 28 above. This event is followed in July by the Valleyfest sponsored "Cycle Celebration" described on form 990ez, part iii, line 29. "Cycle Celebration" encourages young and old to enjoy biking and celebrate the incorporation of Spokane Valley in 2003. Wrapping up in September, Valleyfest kicks off the 3-day community event with the "HEARTS OF GOLD" parade down the main street of Spokane Valley. The parade attracts as many as 10,000 spectators. The next day, Valleyfest, the premier community festival invites visitors to Mirabeau Park where adults and children have their pick of live entertainment on two stages with over 200 local, regional and national vendors on hand to provide our visitors with the opportunity to visit with other non-profit organizations, buy a local craft item or enjoy food from one of our many food vendors. If the youngsters in the family want to learn how to fish, Valleyfest offers "fishing at the falls," a very popular events for kids and parents. At the Centerplace Regional Event Center, Robotics, "STEAM" are just two of the many more participation events keep the young mind as well as adults busy and engaged. 2024 also featured an expanded two-day Multicultural event designed to celebrate and share our diverse rich cultures and heritages with our neighbors through dance, art, music, fashion, food and businesses. Sunday begins the day with a pancake breakfast, then our visitors can wander through the car show featuring a wide variety of beautifully restored classic autos as well as the latest models. if your family is athletic, Valleyfest has a 5k/10k timed run, a triathlon and a family bike ride to name but a few activities. Valleyfest, the two-day event annually draws over 30,000 visitors to the festivities held at the city of Spokane Valley Centerplace Event Center and the beautiful Mirabeau Park
