Peace Action West

Peace Action West is a non-partisan membership organization that promotes arms control and cooperative approaches to foreign policy. We serve as a bridge between ordinary people and policy makers to give voice to a public that supports a foreign policy that embodies the best values of the American people. Our families-indeed people across the world-deserve to live in safety and peace. We believe that security and peace are best achieved working with other nations to craft pragmatic solutions to international problems. By mobilizing diverse constituencies through grassroots action and the media we work to: Prevent the development, testing, proliferation, and use of weapons of mass destruction, control the trade in lethal weapons that fuel conflict around the world, and resolve international conflict through diplomatic non-violent means.
