Mission

To provide low income housing by acting as general partner and/or limited partner of low income tax credit partnerships that provide low income housing.

Successfully provided affordable housing by providing asset management services and serving as the general partner or limited partner. Continued to supply support to bridge housing corporation. Bridge housing corporation creates high-quality, affordable homes for working families and seniors. With over 14,000 homes placed in service and over 4,900 units currently in progress, bridge is among the largest affordable housing developers in california. Bridge builds a range of housing types that not only fit comfortably into their surroundings but also act as the catalyst for revitalizing and strengthening neighborhoods.

The corporate controller and cfo conduct a detailed review of the return before it is filed. Detailed review includes agreeing numbers to audit report, reasonableness tests on data, and reviewing salary information. Each member of the audit committee and the board of directors, upon request, can review the form 990 and submit comments before it is filed.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

Any director or officer who has a financial interest, directly or indirectly, must disclose it before a consideration or vote of the transaction is made by the board of directors. The remaining board will then determine whether a conflict of interest exists. If the board determines that a conflict of interest exists, the interested director or officer may make an informational presentation to the board in connection with the transaction, but may not be present during the discussion or the vote. The board minutes reflect the above-described discussions. Each year the directors and officers sign a statement to denote if conflicts existed during the year and if so, disclosing the nature of the conflict. The oranization also does periodic reviews to ensure compensation is reasonable and goods and services are received at arms-length and conform with internal policies.

Proposed compensation is presented to the compensation committee of the board of directors of bridge housing corporation. The proposal includes comparable data from independent sources. The committee then approves or discusses alternatives to the proposal.
